okay Funimation does have in-house dub-actors now. Previously they subcontracted the voice acting to other studios, which I believe is how 4kids does it. But, you couldn't ask for worse dub actor treatment than Dragonball Z got, with the entire voice cast being replaced no less than three times during the series.

I went through some voices to pick for Eggman but I forgot his. I am trying for evil voices, but his original SA2B voice is enough.
Eggman: Original SA2B voice (I don't no who exactly it is)
Tails: (He is 8,10 yrs old! Laura Bailey does Kid Gohan's voice. And what grown man can sound like high voiced child? Surely not the Lead Singer of AC/DC. Besides Tails should sound like a girl since he is a child yet. Even tho he is like 15 now if you count the years he has been created.)

These Characters from Sonic (SatAM) should come back to Sonic X at least. These Guys were huge back then

As for changes: They did make One Piece better. As for DBZ (No they did not change everyone 3 times), I know dbz better than I could imagine, and I watched it since I was 8. As long as I had watched it only one dub was the worst I heard and that was the Ocean dub. Funimation was waaaaaay better. The remastered version of DBZ has the Funimation Voices like Cris and Sean and Sonny. And original Bruce Falconer instrumentals (Season 2 and on).

They didn't cover the nudities that 4kids would do.
They don't cover bad words such as Hell, D***,Kill,Obliterate, Oblivion, Go to hell, etc. that Ocean and 4kids does.
They don't replace music. Funimation changed the japanese and let Bruce Faulconer instrumentalize it since he is very good at it. Ocean was bad at it.

Actually Ocean dub did rock the dragon, and bad techno inserts.

Funimation took over the db universe and they kept the japanese intro and outros, but just took out the japan voices. Bruce Faulconer who has a great history at instrumentals.

As for Ocean... they got DUMPED into the ocean.
As for 4kids... they are four kids running everthing and ruining good anime. I am glad Funimation took over Pokemon, Yugioh, and DBZ. Where WBkids ruined DBZ and Sailor Moon
4kids didn't want Sailor Moon on anymore because it showed devils and demons and related to greek and roman gods. I mean grow up, it is just a cartoon it aint real.

It's official.  We definitely know more about Sonic than you (maybe even everything).

Time to save this topic from the pits of stupidity. PCB Studios is by far a better choice to do Sonic stuff than either funimation or 4kids. The studio has a pretty good track record in terms of VA, often times being praised by critics in the review of a game. It would also be more economically more beneficial to Sega as well since PCB is based in California. From there, its time for my two cents.

-Sonic: Shiloh Strong. Has done characters with a very similar personality to Sonic (hot headed, cocky, strong sense of justice, disdains weapons, fighting style that combines speed and strength, always keeps his promises). Good choice for an older Sonic (at least 17).

-Dark Spine Sonic (or other "dark transformation that shows up): Yuri Lowenthal. Capable of showing intense anger and hatred in his roles or can play a super smart ass (Gig anyone).

-Tails: Colleen O'Shaugnessy. Everyone that complains that Tails sounds like a girl is an idiot since women are commonly used to play male characters less than 13 years old. Besides, Genis is very much like Tails in terms of character type.

-Knuckles and Espio: Crispin Freeman.

-Shadow: Derek Stephan Prince. Good at playing either "dark" or "cunning" characters. Oswald the Shadow Knight in particular is in a way, like Shadow (messed up past that colors his personality, cold, brooding, aggressive, quiet, slow to earn his trust but is extremely loyal to those who do, dangerous whenever said person is in danger).

-Amy: Kate Higgins or Stephane Sheh. The former is better for a younger, less mature Amy.

-Rouge: Wendee Lee or Michelle Ruff. Depends on what aspects of Rouge's personality get more emphasis. If her trouble maker smart ass aspects get more weight, then the later is the better choice.

-Omega: Jamieson Price. Playing the role of a big, red, angry, vengeful, violent robot is not much different from playing the role of a big, red, angry, vengeful, violent dragon.

-Tikal: Tara Strong

-Cream: Sandy Fox. Good at playing innocent, naive characters (i.e. Flonne, Marona).

-Blaze: Kari Walgreen

-Metal Sonic: Lex Lang. I envision Metal Sonic to be a megalomaniac, psycho overlord type.

-Egg Man: Michael McConnohie. Can play both comedic and serious characters.
